Delhi: Winter break from January 1 to January 15, 2025. Schools will reopen on January 16, 2025.
Uttar Pradesh (UP): Winter break extended until January 10, 2025. Some areas, like Noida, will have schools closed until further notice, with schools in Agra and Mathura reopening on January 11, 2025.
Bihar: Winter break extended until January 11, 2025, for all schools up to Class 8. Classes for higher grades (9th-12th) will continue from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Jharkhand: Schools closed from January 7 to 13, 2025, due to the cold weather.
Haryana: Winter break from January 1 to January 15, 2025, for both government and private schools.
Punjab: Schools reopened on January 8, 2025, after the winter break.
Chandigarh: Winter break extended until January 11, 2025.
Lucknow: Schools will remain closed until January 11, 2025, for Classes 1-8. Online sessions will be held for Classes 9-12.
Rajasthan: Winter break extended until January 11, 2025, due to the severe cold wave.
Himachal Pradesh: Schools are on winter break from January 1 to February 11, 2025.
Jammu and Kashmir: Schools up to Class 5 will remain closed until February 28, 2025. Classes 6-12 are also closed from December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
Telangana: Sankranti holidays from January 11 to January 16, 2025, for intermediate students, with classes resuming on January 17, 2025.
