The festive spirit is in full swing at the Curve, where the shopping mall is ringing in the holiday season with double the excitement. From now until January 1, 2025, the Curve is celebrating both the magic of Christmas and its 20th anniversary with a heartwarming “Gift of Joy” campaign.
This year’s holiday festivities blend a nostalgic reflection on the mall’s two-decade legacy with the vibrant spirit of Christmas, offering an array of activities and stunning decorations designed to create lasting memories for visitors of all ages.
A Wonderland of Holiday Cheer
One of the standout features of this season’s celebrations is the transformation of the Curve’s Centre Court into a captivating Christmas wonderland. The space is adorned with sparkling lights, vibrant presents, and festive touches that bring the joy of unwrapping gifts to life. The theme of generosity and giving permeates every corner of the space, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
Visitors can also experience the enchanting “Jingle Snow” event at the Western Courtyard. On selected weekends in December, as well as on Christmas Day, the mall will offer a whimsical 15-minute snowfall session, turning the area into a winter wonderland.
In addition to the visual spectacle, the Curve’s weekends are filled with live performances that capture the festive spirit. From musical acts and carolers to an angelic choir and enchanting saxophone melodies, the mall offers a diverse range of entertainment. For a festive rhythm, visitors can enjoy the upbeat sounds of a grand marching band.
Activities for All Ages
Families with children will find plenty of activities to keep young minds engaged at the Kids Craft Corner. Children can participate in ornament and cookie decorating, make their own Santa hats, and enjoy festive storytelling sessions that bring holiday tales to life.
Reflecting on 20 Years
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Curve has invited shoppers to share memories through the “Then & Now” social media contest. Participants were encouraged to reminisce and recreate special moments from past visits, contributing to a sense of nostalgia and community.
The mall will also host a Grand Lucky Draw on December 14, broadcast live via Facebook and Instagram. Among the grand prizes are a Honda WR-V, a trip for two to London, and a Sony 65-inch Smart TV, with additional prizes including a luxury sofa, PlayStation 5, and BHPetrol vouchers.
Giving Back to the Community
True to the spirit of the season, the Curve has introduced a corporate social responsibility initiative called “Spread Joy, Share Love for Rumah Hope.” On December 19, the mall will visit Rumah Hope, a local charity, to bring Christmas cheer to children in need. A “Food and Gift Bank Station” will be set up for shoppers to donate food, essentials, and gifts, ensuring that these children experience the warmth and generosity of the festive season.
Additionally, shoppers who spend RM350 or more will be eligible for the mall’s gift-with-purchase program, where they can redeem prizes from a giant advent calendar, including festive merchandise, small gifts, and cash vouchers.
Visitors can also take part in the interactive “Good Deeds Board,” where they can write messages of kindness and positivity, further spreading the spirit of giving.
