Orchard Park Shopping Centre is set to redefine your holiday season with festive charm, community initiatives, and a spectacular shopping experience. From December 5 to 24, shoppers can enjoy not only over 160 retail stores but also dazzling decorations and a custom-designed Santa set that promises to add sparkle to the holidays. The mall’s partnership with over 20 local organizations focuses on supporting youth, families, and seniors in the Kelowna area, emphasizing the spirit of giving.
Visitors are greeted by a dazzling array of lights and ornaments, a nod to the mall’s history as a former orchard. This year’s highlight is a breathtaking Santa display, featuring a sparkling wall, an oversized wreath, and festive gifts placed around a grand throne, offering the perfect backdrop for family photos. Magical Elf will also make appearances for photos until December 24, with reservations available via whereissanta.com.
Inside the mall, the magic continues with beautifully decorated trees, sparkling gifts, and holiday-inspired flora crafted by designer Yuriko from Vintage Origami. Shoppers can easily find the perfect gift or opt for an Orchard Park gift card from the guest services desk.
Adding to the holiday cheer, Orchard Park is hosting several charitable events, including the return of The Salvation Army’s Kettle Bell Campaign and the Toy Mountain toy drive, ensuring that children and teens in the community receive gifts this season. Additionally, from December 11, Orchard Park will support the “Cards of Comfort” campaign for vulnerable seniors, offering personalized holiday messages to brighten their holidays.
From December 13, shoppers can also take advantage of “Gift Wrapping for Good,” a service by local volunteers that combines convenience with community support. According to Catherine Whittingstall, regional operations manager, Orchard Park aims to make this holiday season memorable for everyone, whether they’re longtime locals or visitors to the Okanagan.
